Student Manufacturing Tours

Summary

NHMEP facilitates manufacturing tours year round, bridging the gap between middle/high school, college students and New Hampshire manufacturers. Due to the pandemic, tours may be onsite or virtual depending on state and educational regulations or company policies.

How it Works

Manufacturers can host a tour on a specific date or throughout the year by filling out a short registration form. Schools may request a tour with a specific manufacturer at any time by clicking below and filling out a short inquiry form. A team member will respond within 48 business hours. If you have any questions about tours, hosting, or job postings, please feel free to contact NHMEP Training Coordinator Jill Duddy at jilliand@nhmep.org.

Supporting Digital Transformation with Legacy Components

Digital transformation (DX) promises increased competitiveness, optimized processes and profitability through big data, along with improved employee and customer relations. Gathering data is essential in the 21st century data-oriented environment and requires flexible, interconnected components. Businesses will need people with the specialized skills to implement and optimize all of this. Beyond that, each firm will have to work with its unique DX plans and existing IT environment.

NH’s Supply Chain Challenges

Across industries, New Hampshire businesses have been navigating the burdens of skyrocketing prices and difficulties obtaining essential materials since the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted supply chains.
