Seabrook, NH – When emergency production of critical medical equipment was needed, Marco Rubber was prepared to help make it happen. Marco Rubber & Plastics is a leading tech-enabled virtual manufacturer and global supplier of O-Rings, gaskets and all sorts of rubber and performance plastic seals and components.

As supply chains were disrupted in parts of Asia, then Europe, at home and beyond, an integrated global inventory proprietary platform and diversified made-to-order manufacturing network kept spiking production lines running. Marco Rubber is supplying critical seals used within ventilator systems and the equipment to produce them. Same for many surgical instruments and other medical devices as well as, pharmaceutical-vaccine R&D and production equipment. Business and life are full of challenges, fortunately there are so many people who do the right thing beyond sensationalized headlines. Coming from humble beginnings, understanding everyone is essential likely contributed to the company growing into a niche market leader.

Cross trained fulfillment and quality departments were up to the challenges of splitting into physical distancing shifts with even more cleaning and PPE use, some of which was donated by Asian seal suppliers. Many volunteered to work Saturdays and take work home earning well deserved bonuses while others worked through childcare and family life situations. Sudden transition from 99% onsite to 99% remote home operations was facilitated by IT and a 3rd party partner with limited disruption. Continually adapting is part of life, embracing the ups and downs together with a grounded can-do attitude can help make special things happen.

“I’m proud but not surprised how our dedicated team works together to overcome challenges finding a way to safely support lifesaving and sustaining products.” 2nd Generation CEO, Chad Belinsky.
