Course Description:
This one-day course will provide all of the information needed to improve any organization’s ISO documentation practices. The training applies to all ISO certifications, with an emphasis on ISO 9001:2015. Training topics include:
- A review of necessary ISO documentation to help you identify which documents can be retired from the QMS.
- Methods of controlling and revising documented information.
- Review of document types including SOPs, work instructions, and flow charts, and where each are most appropriate for use.
- Direction and guidance on how to transition away from burdensome SOPs to other, more useful forms of documentation.
Attendees are encouraged to bring with them any ISO-related documents that cause confusion, concern, or frustration. Attendees will be given the opportunity to have their documents evaluated by the instructor and receive customized feedback on how to improve documentation practices.
