Brahim Receives Commissioner Bald’s Exemplary Effort Award
NH MEP director recognized by Governor, NH Dept. of Economic Development
NASHUA, NH - Zenagui Brahim, Director of Operations for the New Hampshire Manufacturing Extension Partnership, was honored with the Exemplary Effort Award from the state Department of Economic Development. Brahim was recognized by Governor John Lynch and Commissioner George Bald for his leadership role in advancing the state’s manufacturing industry.
“Zenagui is a real advocate for businesses and laborers in New Hampshire. Those who’ve had the pleasure to work with him know his dedication to the cause,” said Mark Godfrey, Chair of the NH MEP Board of Directors. “Under Zenagui’s leadership, the NH MEP program has successfully bolstered state and local revenues.
NH MEP recently reported that over the past two years, manufacturing-based companies in the state that have worked with them created or retained 551 jobs that otherwise would not have existed, increased and retained $142.8 million in sales, spent $49 million on new investment, and experienced $18.8 million in cost savings.
Brahim received the recognition at the 14th Annual NH Economic Development Summit, presented by the NH Division of Economic Development in coordination with Public Service of NH and NH Business Review. In addition to presenting seminars and discussions on pertinent business topics, the Commissioner hands out annual awards for economic development excellence.
