Quality Management Systems

Compliance in Quality Management System standards is critical; in many industries, it is a requirement for doing business with your customers. Have you transformed your Quality Management System into a competitive advantage?

The New Hampshire MEP provides gap analysis, training and implementation through certification, audits and internal auditor training that allow your company to become registered in any of the QMS standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14001:2015 and AS9100D:2016.

ISO Documentation Training

Does your company have SOPs (standard operating procedures) or work instructions that are not used in day-to-day operations?

Does your company have documents that appear only during ISO surveillance or recertification audits?

Would you like to get rid of unnecessary documentation, but are concerned that you will violate an ISO clause in doing so?

Course Description:

This one-day course will provide all of the information needed to improve any organization’s ISO documentation practices. The training applies to all ISO certifications, with an emphasis on ISO 9001:2015. Training topics include:

  • A review of necessary ISO documentation to help you identify which documents can be retired from the QMS.
  • Methods of controlling and revising documented information.
  • Review of document types including SOPs, work instructions, and flow charts, and where each are most appropriate for use.
  • Direction and guidance on how to transition away from burdensome SOPs to other, more useful forms of documentation.

Attendees are encouraged to bring with them any ISO-related documents that cause confusion, concern, or frustration. Attendees will be given the opportunity to have their documents evaluated by the instructor and receive customized feedback on how to improve documentation practices.
